by CARL ELDRIDGE Paul Robinson is facing World Cup heartache by being left out of Fabio Capello's squad for South Africa. Former Three Lions keeper Peter Shilton reckons the Italian manager looks set to give Rob Green, David James and Joe Hart the nod meaning the Blackburn Rovers No.1, a former England regular with 41 caps, won't make the plane this summer.
West Ham ace Rob Green played in the recent 3-1 friendly win over Egypt with James and Hart on the bench. …Read more... Add new comment
by CARL ELDRIDGE One Arsene Wenger, there's only one Arsene Wenger. Good job too because if there were two the other would no doubt be pulling the strings at Real Madrid.
Luckily for us the first and original AW is the King of N5 and he has decreed, via this morning's papers, that he belongs to the Arsenal, even if Madrid do again come calling this summer following yet another Champions League failure.
The Daily Telegraph says AW turned down the cha…

Niklas Bendtner misses 6 gold plated opportunities against Burnley at the Emirates.
Sky Sports News and every Arsenal hating pundit brands him a fool, a waste of energy. Christmas DVD's are being made of the clips, with titles like "Six Bendy Boobs" or " 6 things you can't do with a Bendtner", get the drift?
Now I recall my earlier blogs slating Bendtner. I refu…

Fifteen months on since the hapless Paul Ince was put out of his misery (luckily he’s back in work, managing some franchise last I heard) it still cannot be said that Big Sam has fully won over the club’s supporters. Yet, with top flight safety secured with…
by CARL ELDRIDGE Would you wear a T******** shirt ever? What, not even for charity? No, neither would I. And, thankfully and to his undying credit, neither would Perry Groves. See here for the gratifying evidence.
Anyway, after that spiritual diversion on to this morning's papers and the Daily Mail tells us that Roma have stepped up their bid to sign Bill Gallas by sending 'dealmaker' Daniele Prade to London.
The paper says the Serie A club's sportin…
An excellent win last night against Porto sees us into the draw for the Champions League quarter finals. This will take place on Friday week 19 March at UEFA HQ in Nyon, Switzerland at 11.00am GMT. Our road to the final in Real Madrid’s Estadio Bernabéu will be clear. The draw for the semi-finals will be made at the same time. The draw will be broadcast live via the UEFA website at www.uefa.com and on Eurosport.
If you’re of a particularly optimistic cast of mind, …
by JAMES CURTIS I wasn’t at all feeling unprofessional or even in the slightest guilty when I woke up for work this morning with a small hangover and smelling of the chicken wings I bargained off the man at PFC on the way home. It’s not every night you win 5-0 in the knock-out stage of the Champions League.
Arsenal’s best performer on the night was Cesc Fabregas, for his ingenious efforts to stay out of the tie and allow the rest of the Arsenal pups to show t…More Articles...
